Golden Nugget

In August 1946, the iconic Golden Nugget opened its doors in the heart of Fremont Street. Today, it stands as the oldest hotel-casino in Downtown Las Vegas. This full-service 4-star property is owned by Landry's, Inc. – "the leader in dining, hospitality, and entertainment." The Nugget has been the site of numerous televisions programs, films, and video games and is home to "The Tank" – a 200,000-gallon tank featuring hundreds of exotic fish and five species of sharks: four black-tipped sharks, four sandbar sharks, three Tiger sharks, two nurse sharks, and two zebra sharks.

Fun fact: the world's largest gold nugget, "Hand of Faith," weighing 61 pounds at a value of $5 million, is on display in the hotel's lobby.

Street Performers

Street performances or "busking" is the act of performing in public places for gratuities. VIVA VISION Light Show

On December 14, 1995, Viva Vision changed the landscape of Downtown Las Vegas forever. At 1,375 feet long, 90 feet wide, and suspended 90 feet above Fremont Street's pedestrian mall, it is the largest single video screen in the world, offering a free spectacular show every night. The shows run every hour and last approximately 6 minutes. Viva Vision welcomes more than 26 million visitors annually.

SlotZilla Zip Line

For the adrenaline rush of a lifetime, the SlotZilla at Fremont Street Experience has you covered. Repeatedly voted "Best Extreme Adventure" and "Best Amusement Ride," the SlotZilla is a 12-story, slot machine-inspired zip line attraction and will have you flying more than 114 ft. above Fremont Street. SlotZilla offers "flyers" two levels of lines – the lower "Zipline" (77 feet up) traveling halfway down the Fremont Street Experience (FSE), and the upper "Zoomline," 114 feet up, traveling the entire length of the FSE (1,750 feet) at speeds more than 40 mph.

Heart Attack Grill

The Heart Attack Grill is an American restaurant with a hospital theme known for serving huge hamburgers and other deliciously unhealthy, greasy foods extremely high in cholesterol, sugar, and fat. Guests, a.k.a. "patients, "are served their meals by "doctors" and "nurses." The menu includes a variety of aptly named "Bypass" burgers ranging in size from a Single to the Octuple, Flatliner Fries, the Coronary Dog, Butterfat Milkshakes™, Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola, alcohol, and more. This is a fun place but eat at your own risk!

Discopussy

Brought to you by Corner Bar Management, Discopussy debuted in the summer of 2020. Another fabulous venue by Corner Bar Management, Park on Fremont, is a corner bar and restaurant with a cool vibe in a park-like setting and front and back patios. Cheap Shot

Brought to you by Corner Bar Management, Cheapshot is described as "the smallest showroom and discotheque in Las Vegas where everyone is a VIP. Corner Bar Management's Commonwealth is a contemporary bar in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. The owners' vision for this lavish, multi-story, 6,000-square-foot venue was to open a neighborhood bar that would appeal to locals and visitors. Inspired by pre-Prohibition era design and décor, complete with a rooftop patio and bar and a secret speakeasy called The Laundry Room, Commonwealth is a great place to mix and mingle at the 20-foot-long bar, but if you want a high-energy hotspot with dancing, a DJ spinning, and fantastic views of Fremont Street and the surrounding area, the 2,000 sq. ft. rooftop patio is the best place to be.

Visiting Fremont Street does not cost anything and there is plenty to see and do in a few hours. From the free concerts to the entertaining street performers and not to mention the people watching! Head down and grab a bite at Park on Fremont, walk over and grab a beer 🍺 at Commonwealth, and then walk a block to grab a cheap open bar deal from the rooftop at 700 Fremont and you have a heck of a night for under $100!
